This ongoing project comes about as a reflection of the current economic climate in Ireland and is designed to encourage debate about the economic and environmental challenges that the country continues to face. Focusing on areas of construction and development, Polaroid film is utilised in the production.

The Polaroid industry itself (specifically The Impossible Project who have taken over the original Polaroid factories) is currently undergoing a renewal similar to the construction industry and this parallel is significant to the project. At present, as testing and changes are being made to the chemical processes of the Impossible Project film, issues are arising regarding the developed images. These flaws on the developed film are integral to the work and are integrated into the final pieces as they inspiring questioning.

The process of manipulation which these images undergo furthers this questioning and invites the viewer to look more closely at what is being presented.
